Clean room, but dining options fell short of expectations.

Cleanliness of the room stood out. The easy access to the M9 motorway offered great convenience for travel. Ample parking available made it stress-free.
Room condition showed some signs of wear and tear. I noted a faint smell lingering in the hallways. The air-conditioning struggled, blowing cold air regardless of the settings—definitely not ideal for a warm night. Breakfast can be chaotic, especially when there's only one person tackling a busy area, leading to missed items like coffee cups and side plates. The dining experience in the adjoining restaurant was disappointing, with meals that seemed hastily prepared.

The dining scene here is a true delight with dishes that burst with flavor, especially the local seafood—an absolute must-try! staff were really helpful and the restaurant vibe was cozy, perfect for winding down after a long day.
I was a bit bummed about the lack of info on breakfast times upon arrival—it really should've been clearer. the room didn't provide the best access for my mobility needs, which could use a rethink.

Mixed Experience, Room Issues Detracted
We enjoyed the family room's spaciousness but faced several inconveniences. The room's door failed to lock, and key card issues added unnecessary hassle. the restaurant offered a satisfying breakfast, and the staff in the pub area were friendly despite our room concerns.

Awesome spot near everything!
Had a blast in this cozy place! The room was spotless and super quiet, which helped us recharge after long days out. Staff were seriously friendly and went outta their way to help. The restaurant had decent food too! Only thing was the Wi-Fi was a bit hit or miss.

The family room was cozy, and I loved the little touches like the complimentary snacks and the whimsical decor. There’s a lovely garden to relax in and a small playground for kids, making it perfect for families. The carpets could use a thorough cleaning, but that didn’t take away from the fun we had! 🌼

I had a great stay with my family. The location worked perfectly for us, just off the M9, making it easy to explore Stirling and the surrounding areas. The family room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The beds felt comforting, and we enjoyed the clean room. Staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The dining experience really stood out. dinner in the attached pub was a highlight, and the breakfast offered a nice variety of options. The children loved the play area in the restaurant. On the downside, the bathroom could use some improvements. it felt a bit grubby, especially the shower head. the entry door to the rooms didn’t seem very secure at times. I would hesitate to pay more than £54 for the experience, but it provided great value for families with children requiring a stopover on their travels.

excellent base for exploring stirling and the trossachs
i stayed here for two nights and loved how close it was to stirling castle, which is just a short walk away. The beautiful trossachs national park is easily accessible for outdoor adventures. with easy parking and comfortable rooms, it’s a perfect spot for single travelers like me, although the tv was a bit temperamental but didn't take away from my overall experience.
